Our team at Jacob’s Pain Centre is proud to include Dr. Michael Zahavi, a highly experienced Family Medicine physician with over three decades of clinical practice. Dr. Zahavi began his medical training at the University of Toronto, graduating in 1989, and has been in independent practice since 1990.

Certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Dr. Zahavi brings a depth of knowledge and steady clinical judgment to his role. He is fluent in English and is currently practicing in Markham, Ontario, at Jacob’s Pain Centre, where he is dedicated to helping patients manage chronic pain with compassionate, evidence-based care.
In addition to his outpatient work, Dr. Zahavi holds hospital privileges at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, further supporting his well-rounded expertise in both community and hospital-based medicine. His clinical approach is characterized by attentiveness, empathy, and a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for his patients.
